TBT ft. Diwali Mela

Diwali- It is festival celebrated every year in India to mark the return of Lord Rama from 14 years of Exile and his victory over the Demon Ravana. 

And so,as a part of diwali celebration every year our college conducts a Diwali mela.The mela showcases various stalls of food,clothing,jewellery and handicrafts.And some part of its profit goes to the unprivileged children.To give them a better standard of living.

And besides all of this there is music,games,dance & food.Because of this festive mode we get a chance to dress up and showcase our desi attires.Which we usually don’t get due to a hectic college schedule.So,here are few glimpses of the same-

Coming to my look,here I’ve gone for a black kurta and pajami with orange & red dupatta.I combined it with my favourite piece of jewellery i.e jhumkas with embroidered flats and golden metal bangles.And for my makeup I’ve used ruby woo matte lip colour from mac cosmetics  and completed it with some blush and winged liner.

All in all we had great fun.And we are waiting for more diwali melas to showcase our love for Indian attire.
